Recipes for your self-care bottles

BALMY ROLL-ON BOTTLE IDEAS

Calming oil

Create a home blend oil to gently rub on your temples and wrists before bedtime or creative work, while reading a book or waiting for an appointment.

YOU WILL NEED

  • 10ml coconut oil or jojoba oil
  • Lavender, Frankincense or Peppermint essential oil

Melt enough oil to fill the roll-on. Let it cool and then add 4-6 drops combined of Lavender & Frankincense for a calming oil or Lavender & Peppermint for an uplifting blend.

Sand souvenir jar

Collect sand from your favourite beach and carry it around as a souvenir of a lovely day spent outdoors.

SEA MIST BOTTLE IDEAS

01. PLANT MISTER

Fill with water and use it to give your plants a little H20 perk up.

02. AIR FRESHNER

Follow this recipe for an easy homemade air freshener.

You will need

  • 1 cup of water
  • Essential oils of your choice (we love the blends from Vitruvi).
  • 2 tbsp of Baking soda
  • Funnel

Mix 20 drops or so of the essential oils with the baking soda and stir. Add the water and stir some more. Once well combined, pour into the Sea Mist bottle using a funnel. It’s now ready to use, after giving it a good shake!

TIDAL SOAK BOTTLE IDEAS

Candle holder

Find a tapered candle and lightly chip away part of the wax at the base so it fits into the neck of the bottle. Easy-peasy! Great to add ambience with a few candles around the house 🙂

Flower vase

Use the bottle as a simple single flower vase. The subtle blue hue of the bottle can be interesting to keep in mind when picking flower colours.

SOLSTICE OIL BOTTLE IDEAS

Bitters

A great bottle to use for homemade bitters for your cocktails at home or to spark up your everyday water.

*Clean and rinse thoroughly the bottle and dropper to make sure all oil residue is gone.

Flower vase

Use the bottle as a simple single flower vase. The subtle yellow-green hue of the bottle can be interesting to keep in mind when picking flower colours.
